Testimonials

Carrie Marie has been doing my hair since I was a little girl. In fact, it wasn't until I was in graduate school that I went to someone else due to me no longer living in the same state.

Carrie Marie not only is able to style and cut hair, which is a talent within itself, but she also creates elegant beautifully stylish up-dos for special occasions.

I have been extremely impressed with her work. I have been specifically amazed that my up-dos look just as full of life at the end of a night, after dancing and inevitably sweating, as it did when she first created it. Now that's nice! No more matted sweaty hair pictures :)

Carrie Marie's kind and upbeat attitude makes working with her always a pleasure. I now live in Oregon and wait to have my hair done until I visit the East Coast so that Carrie Marie can do it if that tells you anything. I would recommend her to anyone!

DIY Blemish Blaster!

Okay, this is going to be quick, since I'm short on time (which I am all of the time, which is the reason why I don't post often), but I am so excited about my homemade Blemish Blaster!!

So, the below image pretty much sums it up.  But, what I did was take an old, empty essential oils bottle and filled it half way with jojoba oil, which I got on Amazon, then 10 drops of YoungLiving melaleuca essential oil (tea tree oil), 10 drops of YoungLiving lavender essential oil, 5 drops of YoungLiving rosemary essential oil, and 3 drops of YoungLiving lemon essential oil, then filled the bottle the rest of the way with jojoba oil.  After the bottle was all filled up, I put the cap back on and shook it up to mix it.  It was that simple!  I put a few drops on my finger tip and rubbed it on any blemishes and blemish prone areas, which I will repeat once or twice a day.  The mixture of these oils are great for blasting blemishes and improving skin texture and appearance!!  Woohoo!

I am a YoungLiving distributor and I place one monthly order for oils for myself and others who need them, so please contact me if you are interested in purchasing any.
